☆Fourth Wish ☆ - [4th Wall Joint Post]
NORMA: Will be in the plaza by the fountain, people watching and looking for the faces of anyone she recognizes.
DIST: Will be exiting the library and gawking at all the people that suddenly turned up. He will then make an attempt to go to Seventh Heaven for piano practice and home to safety.
MIYABI: Will be in the plaza from 8am in the morning as her tiny self, dodging feet left and right and screaming at people to watch where they're stepping. All while carrying two new paintbrushes. From 2pm onward, she will be sized up for her safety and hanging around the forest for some bloody peace and quiet and trying to paint (Please also specify what size you want her to be, big or small!).

I'm...really not sure. It's not like I have anywhere to be, but still...

Then I can lead you back toward the village if you'd like, madam. It's no trouble at all! I just need to pick up my things here first.

[Wouldn't you know it, the moment Miyabi says that and removes the weights from her parchment, a gust kicks up and blows the papers away. She waves her hands frantically, to catch them before they go too far, her wings also buzzing with life as well. Agh, stupid wind! The bane of every traveling artist!]
no subject
You're an artist? You're quite skilled.
no subject
Y-Yes, I...I am an artist. Th-Thank you, really, but I'm no where near as good as other people I know. I'm still learning. [She bunches together the paper and paintings she managed to catch, slipping them into a folder carefully.] I've only improved somewhat, and...I-I haven't painted like this in a very long time, so I'm rusty.
no subject
It may look familiar to one you seen before, in fact it should.]Nonsense, you're very talented! You make them look as though they're coming to life.
no subject
It's a very strong compliment - one she'll take to heart for a long, long time. One that also makes her smile, and turn positively pink, all the way to the faintly glowing tips of her wings.]
You're...y-you're much too kind, Madam. Thank you. Thank very much. Your words mean quite a lot to me.
no subject
I meant it, truly. I've never seen such beautiful paintings. [She stares at them for a moment before jerking her head up a little.]
I'm sorry, where are my manners? My name is Rouge. Portgas D. Rouge. It's nice to meet you.
no subject
It's still kinda hard to believe.Tilting her head Miyabi takes in Rouge's face, her eyes, her smile, the freckles... Aha. Yes, it's definitely there. Ace must take take after his mama. Ah, and she's so pretty!]
...Miyabi. My name is Miyabi, Lady Rouge. Uhm, this may be rather sudden, but...do you by chance have two sons? You look...kind of like someone I know. Ah, sorry, that's a silly question, isn't it?
no subject
No, I only... [Have? Had? Which does she use? D:] Just one son... why do you ask?
[Bitch, splain. :|]
no subject
Well, I-I know this may sound odd, but I know your son...Ace. You look--eh, I-I guess actually he looks much like you do. He's a very kind person, and strong, too! I've only know him for a little bit, but it's easy to sense a good person like that.
[You should be very proud, mama.]
no subject
A few tears form in her eyes, and she smiles.] That's wonderful. I'm so glad to know he's alive... thank you. Thank you so much for telling me.
no subject
It's no trouble at all, you don't have to thank me. I'm sure he'll be just as happy to see you again, too, milady Rouge. [She giggles once, imagining the reunion in her mind. Mm, how nice...for a mother and son to be reunited... Presumably after a very long time of being separated.
...]
Uhm...m-milady? I hate to be bold, but...would it be all right if I painted your picture? You have a warm, yet regal appearance; I'd be honored if you let me capture that in one of my paintings. [She bows her head respectfully, eyes closing.]
no subject
I-I would love that. Very much, really.
no subject
Arigato...thank you. [Miyabi bows her head, both in thanks and respect, then goes to set up.] Hm, could you pose a little? I-If it's not too much trouble to ask.
no subject
This is her pose, get painting.]

[Miyabi stares at Rouge for quite some time, her eyes moving over her face, her frame, the flow of her hair, the ruffling of her dress... For about a minute or two, Miyabi just looks at her, capturing the image with her eyes first, before beginning the actual process of painting the woman. When she does begin though, it's with a delicate, but masterful hand that she works.
The brush sways and curves along the parchment, as if not painting, but dancing, always returning to a point. Line, light, color, shadow...everything flows together in time to create something beautiful. Art, life, anything at all - it takes time and effort to make something truly wonderful. And the painting is wonderful and beautiful, and captures not only the woman's physical shape, but the painter's spirit as well.
When she finishes, Miyabi signs and dates the back, looking peaceful and satisfied.]
I'm finished...sorry to make you stay still like that for so long.
no subject
But with this, Ace could see her. Even if not in person, her grown son could live knowing his. She keeps her hands over her heart, as if trying to contain her emotions and memories. When Miyabi stops, she opens her eyes, and smiling sweetly.]
Not at all, it was fine. Ah... [She blushes a bit, averting her gaze, then looking back to her.]
If you see him... could you tell him I'm glad he's been able to live? And... that I'm proud of him.
